She woke up late yesterday afternoon and they went ahead with the defibulator surgery. She seems to be doing really well and came off the tube today! She's alert and seems to be functioning well- they arent 100% sure about the neurological state at this point... only tests can determine that. Now they are monitoring her heart rhythms and giving her new medications orally, then they start monitoring her.
