Whole Milk.

Ok. So now that I have a toddler (party pics will make it up in a few days) I have no idea how to do this weaning from bottle/introduce whole milk thing. He drinks from a sippy cup occasionally, having some diluted juice and sometimes water... but by no means has it replaced the bottle.

The last couple of days at mealtime I have put 2 oz or so of whole milk in his sippy and he takes a couple of drinks then it goes in the floor.

I just dont know how to do it... do I totally replace the bottle? Do I mix it with formula?

here's our bottle schedule as is....

Wake up:

8 oz bottle

play,

breakfast

bottle, (4 oz)

nap

lunch

dinner

movie

bath

books

bottle

bed

A year ago tonight....

I had no idea that my life was going to change forever.

That I could love so completely, unconditionally, sacrificially and eternally.

That 30 years of life would prepare me for this "job".

That blue eyes were the perfect color, 21.5 inches the perfect length, 9 lbs 7 oz the perfect size, and that my "scar" would become my badge of honor.

I cant believe you are one..... my precious love. The past year of our lives has been fuller, sweeter, happier and richer with you in it. I hope to be the kind of mother that you can depend on in every situation, regardless of circumstance or outcome. I hope to teach you to love all people, show compassion even when you don't understand it, and to reach higher, dream bigger and go further than you can imagine possible. I promise to always love you fiercely, never forgetting to thank the Lord for blessing us with this gift, you my son, my firstborn.
